We have just published an updated and expanded second edition of the guidebook to the El Chaltén Massif. You can order it online via the link provided below. In not too long it should become available in a number of shops in North America and Europe. As soon as that happens we will post a list and links. The new edition includes the over 60 new routes and traverses climbed since 2012. We have also corrected and re-edited the text, changed at least half of the photos, and a long etcetera of improvements that we feel make it a far better product.
In has 384 color pages, 16 more than the first edition, covering 430 routes on 75 peaks. It includes 106 topos, 137 photo-diagrams, as well as 110 more photos. The format is 150 x 240mm, the binding sewn.
The first edition won the "Best Guidebook Award" at the 2013 Banff Film and Book Festival. Note that this English language version will NOT be available in Argentina, only a Spanish version will.

La versión en español de la segunda edición de la guía del Macizo de El Chaltén, ampliada y revisada, estará disponible en dos semanas. Apenas esté lo haremos saber. Esta nueva edición incluye las más de 60 rutas y travesías nuevas que han sido escaladas desde el 2012. También corregimos y reeditamos el texto, cambiamos al menos la mitad de las fotos, y un largo etcetera de mejoras que mejoran substancialmente esta publicación. Tiene 384 páginas color, 16 más que la versión anterior y describe 430 rutas en 75 cumbres. Incluye 106 topos, 137 foto-topos, junto con otras 110 fotos más. El formato es 150 x 240mm. La primera edición ganó el premio a la mejor guía de montaña en el festival de cine y libros de Banff, Canada en 2013.
